What is Toolwire?

Toolwire lets you perform Xilinx learning labs in a virtual environment and receive hands-on experience with the Xilinx software tools, online.

How Xilinx online labs work in Toolwire

• Toolwire provides secure servers running all of the necessary software in either a Windows or UNIX enviromnent
• Xilinx lab files are provided in your personal account directory, and lab instructions are included with the lecture slides as well as your course workbook
• You must test your computer system and location before class to ensure your computer will perform the labs in the Toolwire virtual environment

Testing your system and location (or site) for Toolwire

• Pretest your computer system at the location where you will be performing the online labs to ensure your computer is compatible with the Toolwire virtual environment
